Every calculator works with no account at all. Here's what changes if you make one.

Using a calculator, no account

Paycheck, mortgage, loan, savings, 401(k), and the rest — every calculator runs in your browser. Your figures never leave the page unless you create a free account and save a result.

If you create an account

An account is optional and only needed to save results to your ledger across visits. Signing up stores your email (via Supabase, our account provider) and, for anything you explicitly save, the calculator used, a headline figure, and the full inputs behind it — this is what powers the dated history and vs-last comparisons on your ledger page. Passkey sign-in is supported as an alternative to a password. Deleting your account removes these rows.

SalarySmith carries Google AdSense ads. AdSense may set its own cookies and use them to select ads, governed by Google's policies.
